Does Forever Exist?

                

                “I love you forever”. Have you heard this statement? We teenager probably heard of this with our special someone or from you boyfriend and girlfriend. How does it feel when you heard that from the one whom you given your heart without any doubt? You feel in the word “forever” and you believe in that phrase, especially if you are truly in love with that person. But does everybody feel or experience it?

            I asked my friends if forever exist. Most of them laugh and say it is only an illusion. For others, they said that time will come and we will all die, so there is no forever. Then, I have this friend that said, ‘if forever exist why some people break their vows and marriage. If forever really exist why I am single right now’. This statement made me think about the existence of so-called “forever”. Still, we cannot deny that most people will leave us even how many times he or she promised and say they love us forever no matter what happens, they still break it. We know everything changes. Just like an old saying tell us that the only constant thing in this world is change. People around us even our friends, family or our special someone will fail us or will let go of us if they found someone better or when we failed them.

            Yes, these situations may drive us to doubt “forever”. But if you’re going to ask me, I know, there is someone who is always at our side no matter what happens,  He is God. Even we make mistakes in life; He always forgives us over and over again. If we have big problems trials in life we pray for His presence and guidance and He never fails us. He is always at our side in success or in down moments. He is there to guide us. His love for us will never end. He was crucified in the cross to pay for all our sins because He loves us.

            As human, we only believe in the things that we can see, hear and feel. But God even we cannot see and feel Him, we still believe in His presence. God is forever as well as his love for us. Even we are sinners, still He loves us unconditionally. We just need to believe in His existence. Just like what my friend once told me, ‘We know everything on earth are temporary thus there is ending for everything but still remain and cannot be stopped.”

            Now, I want to as you the same question, does forever exist? Definitely yes! Not believing in something does not make it not exist. Forever is love of God. We just need to do our part; trust, believe and have faith in Him an forever will exist. Thank you for listening and I hope you will find “forever”. “forever with God”
